Book your EUSR SHEA Gas Course with McCrae Training

The SHEA Gas passport scheme is a vital safety training course offered by McCrae Training for anyone working in operational activities of the gas industry who need permanent or temporary access to sites, including operators, supervisors, and management at various levels.

Designed in accordance with HSE criteria and delivered by one of our qualified trainers, the course comprises nine modules, the first six of which are applicable to all utilities and form the basis of health, safety and environmental law and practices. The remaining three course modules are specific to the gas industry and cover working on the network and pressure regulating installation in domestic and commercial premises.

Attendees are required to complete the core modules and depending on their job role will be studying either – or in some cases, both – upstream and downstream modules.

Following successful completion of the course, a Cover Note is issued. Candidates EUSR Utility SHEA Gas card is then valid for five years.

This scheme is affiliated with the CSCS to allow gas industry workers access to construction sites for utilities work without the need to complete a separate CSCS card.
